Thermomixer comfort offers simultaneous mixing and temperature control. Applications include enzyme reactions, transformation, denaturation of DNA, RNA and proteins, cultivation of bacteria and yeasts, bead technology, plasmid isolation and isolating DNA fragments from agarose gels, immunoprecipitation and hybridisation. Features two selectable programme sequences with incubating, mixing and rest phases as well as cooling to 13 °C below ambient, and automatic thermoblock identification and display of maximum revolutions.

The Eppendorf Thermomixer Comfort with 2 ml Thermoblock features a wide temperature control and application range due to active counter-cooling. With excellent mixing and incubating performance, the Thermomixer Comfort features a temperature control range from 13°C below room temperature to 99°C and a mixing frequency of 300 to 1,500 rpm.
