PATENTED WORLD FIRST: The Tube Mill control is a batch mill with disposable grinding bowls. Cross-contamination is avoided and eliminates any cleaning. The grinding bowls and the cover are made of a transparent material, so that grinding experiments can be observed at any time. The mill can be used for hard (up to 5 Mohs hardness), brittle and dry materials. It is particularly suitable for the comminution of seeds (such as corn, wheat). Particular attention was paid to safety during the development of the mill. So the mill starts with the hood closed. If no grinding bowl is inserted in the drive, this is detected by the device and the device also does not start up. Even if the grinding bowl is not properly closed, the drive detects it and an error message appears (appliance does not start up). During operation, the grinding bowl can not be opened.
